Reducing the environmental impact of temporary power generation through the use of Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF) retrofit technology

The London Organising Committee for the Olympic and Paralympic Games
(LOCOG) aimed to significantly reduce the air emissions produced from the diesel engines of temporary power generators which were required to meet the energy supply needs to operate venues and deliver the Games. The particulate reduction target set by LOCOG was significantly beyond the current legal requirements and ahead of the technology development curve.
