Rainwater harvesting at the Velodrome

Rainwater harvesting was a key part of the Olympic Delivery Authority’s (ODA’s) objective to achieve up to a 40 per cent reduction in potable water across the programme. One-half of the Velodrome’s 13,000 metres squared roof was used for harvesting rainwater for toilet flushing and landscape irrigation on the Velopark.
