Health and Safety Executive

The Health and Safety Executive (HSE) is Britain’s national regulator for workplace health and safety. It aims to prevent death, injury and ill health. It does so through research, information and advice, promoting training, new or revised regulations and codes of practice, and working with local authority partners by inspection, investigation and enforcement.

HSE will use its existing programme of events plus a full range of communications channels to disseminate to the construction industry the health and safety good practice and lessons learned from the London 2012 construction project.
